  8. How can the WordPerfect Switchkit be installed if it was not installed with 
  9. the original installation of Ami Pro 3.0?
  10.  
  11. SOLUTION:

  13. The WordPerfect Switchkit can be installed by following the instructions 
  14. below.
  15.  
  16.   1. Exit Ami Pro if it is loaded.
  17.   2. Select File / Run from the Windows Program Manager.
  18.   3. Insert the Ami Pro Install Disk 1 into your floppy drive.
  19.   4. Type X:\INSTALL (where X: is the floppy drive identifier) in the Command 
  20.      Line edit box.  (For example, if the Ami Pro Install Disk 1 is in drive 
  21.      A:, type A:\INSTALL.)
  22.   5. Choose OK.
  23.   6. Choose "Install Ami Pro".
  24.   7. Choose "Custom Ami Pro Install".
  25.   8. Choose "Windows" or "NewWave" (select the environment for which Ami Pro 
  26.      is being installed).
  27.   9. If needed, type the correct path to your Ami Pro program files in the 
  28.      Program directory edit box.
  29.  10. Deselect all the options under "Options to install" EXCEPT the "Choose 
  30.      graphic import filters" option.  "Choose graphic import filters" should 
  31.      be the only option selected with an X.  This option is chosen because it 
  32.      requires the least amount of time to install.
  33.  11. Choose OK.
  34.  12. Choose OK.
  35.  13. Insert each disk that is specified.
  36.  14. When the WordPerfect Switchkit Installation box appears, choose "Install 
  37.      Switchkit".
  38.  15. Choose OK.
  39.  16. Choose "Exit Install".
  40.  17. Load Ami Pro.
  41.  18. Select Tools / Macros / Playback.
  42.  19. Choose SWITCH.SMM from the Macros list box.
  43.  20. Choose OK.
  44.  21. The Ami Pro Switchkit - Loading Options box appears.  It lists three ways 
  45.      in which the Switchkit can be loaded.  If you choose "Automatically run 
  46.      with Ami Pro", the Switchkit runs each time you load Ami Pro.  If you 
  47.      choose "Add menu item", "For WordPerfect Users" will be added to the Help 
  48.      menu.  If you choose "Start Switchkit manually", the Switchkit can be run 
  49.      at any time as a macro.  Choose the option desired.
